Why do you like working in the real estate industry?
“I really enjoy matching people with a place they can call their own. No matter how many times I help with the buying or selling process, the experience of helping people with one of the biggest investments of their lives will always be exciting to me!”
Why do you choose to affiliate your business with Semonin?
“I heard numerous times about the strength of the Semonin team. I strive to be the best I can be, so being with Semonin means keeping my standards high and working with the best.”
What sets you apart from other REALTORS®?
“Real estate is my passion, and I have the discipline needed to keep myself on track, so each transaction is smooth and successful. I feel education is very important, so I continually upgrade my skills with classes and courses.”
What do you do to stay up-to-date/knowledgeable about the real estate industry?
“I attend classes, draw on the expertise of a great team and network. I also have access to an updated market analysis on a weekly and monthly basis.”
What did you do before you began working in real estate?
“I’ve worked in the customer service arena since I was 15. It’s taught me a lot about how to keep the customer happy, provide good communication and explain things simply to keep the customer up to speed. It’s also given me the great gift of patience.”
Briefly, tell us about your immediate family (per 2019):
“I’m very close to my mom and two younger siblings, and we vacation and spend every holiday together. My significant other and I have three beautiful daughters, Ella, Marla and Zyn.”
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy outside activities, such as camping, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, etc.! There is something about fresh air, the sun and nature that really makes me feel comfortable and refreshed.”
Most people don’t know this about me, but I …
“…don't watch much TV or keep up with trending shows (I do like movies, though.).”
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Persistence is key. Even when I fail, I can’t stop there. That is how I am reaching my goals. I know that it works.”
What is your favorite book/type of book?
“I enjoy self-improvement books because they inspire me to be a better me, teach me things I feel are important to my life and help me reach my goals.”
What is your favorite movie/type of movie?
“I love funny movies because it always feels good to laugh, especially with other people. I also like scary movies, and the thrill of them keeps me watching. It’s not easy to make a scary movie, so when I find a good one, I really appreciate the skill and creativity that’s put into the film.”
What is your favorite song/type of music?
“I'm well rounded when it comes to music, but I mostly enjoy J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. There is a young artist from Louisville I also like, Jack Harlow, and who doesn't enjoy Bryson Tiller?”
If you could wave a magic wand, what one thing would you most like to change in the world?
“The way we treat our Earth. I believe there are alternatives to plastics and toxins that we spill out into our water and on the land. The reason we haven't shifted to cleaner living is beyond me.”
What are two or three items on your Bucket List?
“To travel out of country. I think it’s important to explore and appreciate other cultures besides your own. Also, to buy each of my children a house and sign it over to them on their 18th birthday. When you turn 18 and you’re on your own, it’s hard. Providing them with an asset and teaching them the importance of planning, budgeting and investing would make me feel more secure for their sake.”
If you could have dinner with anyone, living or deceased, who would it be?
“I would like to sit down and eat with Steve Harvey. He is really inspirational and funny. He didn't come from much and made himself into something big and admirable. I do believe that would be one of the best dinners I've ever had, regardless of the food.”

“’Superior’—only because everyone has the ability to be great. Some of us just have to work a bit harder than others.”
Do you have a motto/words to live by?
“’It is what it is.’ I love this saying so much because it has taught me not to dwell on things that are beyond my control and to actually learn, grow and move forward in the best way possible.”
Do you have a favorite quote?
“Look for something positive in each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder.”
