About

In what year did you begin working in the real estate industry as a REALTOR®? “2006.” Why do you like working in the real estate industry? “I love guiding people through the process and giving them the peace of mind that--when it's all said and done--it was done right and they have no worries.” In what year did you become affiliated with Semonin Realtors®? “2016.” Why do you choose to affiliate your business with Semonin? “Semonin, as an agency, has so much to offer—not only to me as an agent, but also to my buyers and sellers. It makes the process much easier and seamless.” What do you do to stay up-to-date/knowledgeable about the real estate industry? “Staying up to date and knowledgeable in this business is key, as the market changes somewhat every day. Semonin offers classes relentlessly, and I attend every class that I need to keep informed—whether it's contract changes, legal matters or even technology and marketing. It all plays a major role in how I market property effectively and keep my clients safe throughout a transaction.” What did you do before you began working in real estate? “I had my own retail and wholesale greenhouse business.” Briefly, tell us about your immediate family (per 2019): “My fiancé, Linda, works as a Patient Care Specialist for Norton Health Care, and my daughter, Kaylah, lives and works in Bardstown, KY.” What do you enjoy doing in your free time? “I love to be behind my camera doing real estate photography and attending and photographing local music events, wineries and festivals.” What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? “There are two, actually: ‘Dress up and show up,’ and ‘Money only makes you more of who you really are.’” What is your favorite book/type of book? “I think the best book I've read was the 'Ninja Selling' book because it took everything I already knew about the real estate business and mapped it out; or set out the pathway.” What is your favorite movie/type of movie? “Action movies are my favorite type, and there are too many favorites to mention.” What is your favorite song/type of music? “I guess my favorite is older country/bluegrass music, mainly because that's what I grew up listening to. I played rhythm guitar and five-string banjo in a band when I was young, so it's a common thread. I listen to a broader spectrum, though.” If you could wave a magic wand, what one thing would you most like to change in the world? “I think there are way too many homeless people in this world—especially veterans.” If you could have dinner with anyone, living or deceased, who would it be? “I think it would be my great granddad, just because he passed away when I was young, and I didn’t really know him that well.” Do you have a motto/words to live by? “Help enough people get what they want, and mine will be waiting.”
