In what year did you begin working in the real estate industry as a REALTOR®?
“In 1978. I obtained my Kentucky broker license in 1980.”

Why do you like working in the real estate industry?
“I enjoy helping people, and it’s a people business.”

In what year did you become affiliated with Semonin Realtors®?
“1987.”

Why do you choose to affiliate your business with Semonin?
“Semonin has great marketing support, staff and fellow agents. It’s the best company in town!”

What do you do to stay up-to-date/knowledgeable about the real estate industry?
“In addition to serving on an Advisory Council with Semonin, I attend weekly company business meetings. I also stay current on industry standards by regularly attending continuing education classes.”

What did you do before you began working in real estate?
“I was the Assistant District Manager for the United States Steel Corporation, in the Agricultural Division.”

Are you involved in any trade/civic or community organizations? If yes, please explain.
“I recently worked with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.”

Who is your immediate family (per 2019)?
“I’ve been married to Suzanne Abbott Andriot for 21 years, and we have two children, Elizabeth and Brian.”

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
“Prior to the purchase of my Triumph motorcycle, I enjoyed pleasure boating for 45 years, traveling from Wisconsin to Florida by water.”

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“’Like what you see in the mirror when it reflects back.’ Sound advice from my dad.”

What is your favorite movie/type of movie?
“’Scent of a Woman.’ I found the story line motivating from the standpoint that someone who lost their sight was so motivated despite that challenge.”

What is your favorite song/type of music?
“I enjoy music by Vince Gill and Jimmy Buffet.”

If you could wave a magic wand, what one thing would you most like to change in the world?
“There would be world peace.”

What are two or three items on your Bucket List?
“To visit London again and boat in the Bahamas on a Barefoot Cruise.”

If you could have dinner with anyone, living or deceased, who would it be?
“My dad. He’s the best and most honorable man I’ve known.”
